We have a whole YEARS worth of new art. Oh yes we do. Why hasn't it made an appearance before now? Because some of us are busy watching hummingbirds and counting clouds, that's why.

Summer Fun

Moving along (in reverse) to catch you up on our adventures during and since the the wedding.

Stephanie arrived at our house a week ago. She's in need of soul resuscitation, and, as a result, our adobe has been the cauldron of much love, magic and friendship. We've been up the mountain and through the valley, to the river and around the gorge. It's been pure pleasure. We arrived back in Taos, and our beloved studio, just last week. You should have seen us trying to steer the Uhaul trailer in and out of the snow (and ice) packed driveway. But we managed, without having to phone AAA (which cannot be said for the long trip from Atlanta to Taos when our gas gauge quit working and we ran out of gas. Oi!)

More from the Graveyard

Many of you know that my favorite place on earth (aside from Wonderland, Oz, and Cirque du Soleil) is the graveyard, especially the Eastern European Graveyard.

While Silas and I were in Europe in December, we spent a very VERY cold day inside the walls of a beloved cemetery. My body was fairly miserable but my heart leaped with glee.

So as I wake this morning, hungry for a little eye candy to start my day, I stumble onto these fashion photos that just make a girl glad she's a girl. Know what I mean? Alexander McQueen certainly does.

These frolicsome frocks make me want my own catwalk. Can you feel the sashay? Would it be wrong to dress up for the chihuahuas and the vacuum cleaner?

While some of you are aware that we've been in Georgia since mid-December, addressing a Series of Colossal Blessings disguised as Series of Unfortunate Events, what many of you don't know is that we spent the fall creating new art.

It's raning it's pouring the Old Man is Snoring.

I'd been putting this off as long as I could. But since we've returned to Kennesaw, we've had to face some pretty devastating news. Remember the disaster/emergency relief declared for the south last fall? Rains came down and hard, weaving a path of wet destruction for many. Including us. It washed out our roof, our garage, our car, and half the walls in our house.

I'm back from Europe. Back from the edge of illness. Back from the bowels of holiday travel. But still dancing the line of sanity, thank you very much.

Though we wish we'd been able to update regularly, that's been the teensiest bit impractical. Let me spell it out for you this way:
