It's like sucking on a toughcicle--this keeping up with a blog! I go in spurts, that's plain enough to see. Live a little. Write a little. Live a lot. Write a lot. With s p a c e in between. I'm always astounded by the folks who manage to keep writing in their blogs each week AND live their life, with trips to the grocery store, the gas station, the bank. Guess it's just not in my Aquarian nature. But what IS in my nature, lucky for me, is the wandering spirit. When I'm not here writing and updating, I'm having adventures, dreaming, creating, wandering around the terrain of soul. And this latest bit--since finishing up our Part One Moving Sale and coming back to Taos with Silas in tow--has been quite yummy. Where to start?

I think I'll spread all the news out over multiple entries, so as to look more like all those folks who tend their blogs on a regular basis. But let me recap. In the six weeks since arriving back in Taos, we're:

Looking for a new house
Creating two new greeting card lines
Designing six calendars
Finishing up a mini-film
Planning the new Duirwaigh website
Growing the backyard garden (to die for! to live for!)
Recording Duirwaighs and Dreamfields: A True Fairy Tale
Feeding thirteen bird families and several thousand hummingbirds
Adopting a Tibetan Gong (more on this later)
Designing a line of inspired silvery jewelry
Celebrating Tink's tenth birthday
and, oh yeah, finding the space to heal a very old wound in a relationship that festered long ago...

That about sums it up. 'Cept for the day-job stuff of licensing and promoting art and the night-job stuff of sleeping and dreaming and the middle-stuff of finding new ways of embodying POWER in body, mind and spirit.

Geez, now that I think about it, I guess reporting about life isn't so much fun as living life. So you'll just have to deal with me popping in and popping out. And now...to the door...where the delivery guys from Jackalope are about to arrive any minute with the newest member of our furniture family: the Tibetan Gong. And yes...there will be pictures and cigars for all...

Dowhatyoulove_wWell, summer is upon us. Hard to believe. I think it was spending those two months in Georgia that threw off the whole schedule for me. I planned the trip to be 12 days and it turned out to be all of April and May! When I returned home to Taos, the summer winds were blowing, bringing with them the famous afternoon thunderstorms. But the trip was quite a prosperous venture, as the entire Duirwaigh family spent those months cleaning, clearing, sorting and selling! Our facilities will undergo a few more clearings and then voila! We'll be mobile enough to move and move we will! The house, warehouse and crew will be coming to Taos. Oh, what a day that will be. But until then, what's afoot for me? And my Duirwaigh child? As the David Bowie song goes: "Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes"!

Changes on every front. At home, for one. Silas is now with me full time in Taos, our little adobe crammed with all sorts of creative equipment. (For all their marvelous benefits, those mac computers, printers, scanners, hard drives and all the sundry cords and paraphenalia that go with them are quite horrendous looking. Anyone wanna tackle that project? Seems a shame they're not more home-beautifying for as many as live in our home!) The roses are flourishing, the daisies lifting their little heads to the sun, and I am settling in to create a handful of new projects for next year. Among them, a whole new website. Yeah, you heard me. That's the next big change. Duirwaigh is gonna have a whole new look and an entirely new direction. No small task, but it's time. I can't say too much about it now, as we're still in those delicate formative stages, but expect a whole new level of inspiration and interaction.

And then there's the book. The manuscript of Duirwaighs and Dreamfields is sitting on an agent's desk in New York City and I've started recording the audio version, which I'm going to publish myself. I'm four chapters into it and we hope to have it recorded and available for purchase by fall. Oh, it's exciting! There's a lotta juicy energy in it, and every time I sit down to read I feel as though I'm sitting with all those souls who are destined to read it and the energy exchange...sheesh. Some nights it's hard to get to sleep, so curled are my toes with delight.

And did I mention that while all of this is going on we're looking for a house(more on this later), creating four new calendars for 2010 production,a new line of 24 greeting cards, a new inspiration film and a trailer for the Duirwaighs and Dreamfields book?  Sometimes I have to take a nap just thinking of the plurk load. (Play+Work = Plurk. If you don't know who Plurk is, click here.) But all the intensity is voluntary and I'm incredibly grateful to be busy doing what I love. Isn't that the point of it all anyway? Do what you love, love what you do, for in that bliss, life breaks into bloom! (Thus spake Angi..and Silas put it on one of our new cards...that's what you see above!)

Until next time...may you blossom in a garden of your own delight.
